The technology event will move to Punta Arenas in March of next year, bringing together key players in the aquaculture ecosystem to promote new solutions, technologies, and capabilities aimed at accelerating the transformation of the industry under environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria, with a view to 2030.

Chilean Patagonia is preparing to become the epicenter of aquaculture innovation. Between March 17 and 18, 2027, the Dreams Hotel in Punta Arenas will open its doors to host the third edition of Aquasur Tech, one of the most important technology events for the aquaculture industry in the Southern Hemisphere.

The event was created as a space to connect innovation, technology, and productive development around a key activity for the country, with an increasingly focused approach to sustainability, operational efficiency, and environmental engagement. In this new edition, Aquasur Tech will bring together more than 60 companies that provide solutions for the industry, creating a platform to showcase technologies, share experiences, and address the main challenges of aquaculture, with a special focus on salmon farming. The event will take place at a pivotal moment for the sector, where productivity must advance alongside environmental, social, and governance criteria, as well as new solutions geared towards sustainability. Those attending in Punta Arenas will be able to explore a showcase of technological developments, applied solutions, and new strategic approaches designed to accelerate the industry’s transformation in the coming years.

Within this context, the Magallanes Region assumes a leading role. Its location, natural conditions, and relevance to aquaculture development position it as a strategic territory to demonstrate that applied science, innovation, and respect for the environment can move forward in the same direction.
